I have always been in the kitchen and have loved everything about cooking curry.

I grew up in the midlands, and was part of a large family with a bustling kitchen.

One of my earliest memories is my mum giving me the job of grinding the family’s much loved secret blend of spices in the pestle and mortar whilst my brothers and sisters played in the garden!.  The kitchen was always the place for me, somewhere I felt relaxed and totally comfortable.

I left home at the age of 16, and came to live here in beautiful Cornwall.  It was here that I began cooking curries for my friends. It was difficult to buy all of the spices I needed back then in Cornwall, so I had to make trips back to Leicester to get what I needed.

I first realised that I could possibly have a business when I cooked a curry for a friend’s birthday party, I really enjoyed it and the feedback I received was amazing.

The following year, I invested in myself and took the leap and opened my own Indian takeaway ‘Ruby Murries’.  We were a huge success it was fantastic to be selling our curries to the public and seeing how well they were received.

After five years we decided to sell this business as we had a very young family and I wanted to take the time out to enjoy more time with them.

Our small town of St Ives desperately missed our food, we continually had people coming up to us in the street asking if I was going to re-open or where could they get some of our curry!

I then came up with the idea for this new business, selling our much loved ruby murries sauces.  Ruby Junes Indian kitchen was born! It has been a wonderful success, growing from strength to strength.

The concept is that you purchase a concentrated sauce of your choice from our range and then add your own choice of meat, fish or vegetables. It really is that simple!

We love the idea that we are giving our valued customers the opportunity to produce top quality Indian cuisine from there very own kitchen!
